Throughout her career, Renee Zellweger has often gained and lost weight for roles. For the first *Bridget Jones* film, she gained 15 kilograms.

Following the film’s box office success and her strong debut, directors offered her roles on the condition she quickly shed the extra weight.

Renee worked hard to lose the weight, becoming extremely thin at one point. However, when she agreed to star in the sequel, she was required to regain the weight.

These drastic weight changes took a toll on her health and metabolism. Losing weight after the second film proved more challenging, and this time she appeared older than her age.

Recent paparazzi photos of Renee captured during a shopping trip revealed noticeable changes. Dressed casually in a beige cap, black cardigan, grey t-shirt, and black tights, she appeared without makeup.

Her face showed deep wrinkles, pronounced nasolabial folds, and a less defined facial structure.

Despite undergoing plastic surgery in the past, the results seem unsatisfactory. Fans were shocked by her appearance in these photos, with many struggling to recognize her.

Comments online ranged from confusion to concern, with remarks like, “Is that really Renee? I thought it was someone else” and “Losing weight isn’t for everyone, and Renee proves it.”
