Three-year-old Nicholas Protsenko did more than just sing; he captivated the world. Holding a mike almost as big as his palm and eyes full of fire and intensity, he blasted forth a sound that didn’t seem humanly conceivable…

Karolina Protsenko is well-known online as a musical prodigy. Technically educated in violin, the thirteen-year-old Ukrainian-born musician has been busking in Santa Monica since 2017. Karolina’s abilities have gained widespread recognition due to her appearance on The Ellen Show. Karolina has followed in her parents’ footsteps, since they are also musicians. Her younger brothers, Leo and Nicholas Protsenko, appear to be following in her footsteps and developing their own musical skills.

Leo Protsenko, who is just five years old, has impressed everyone with his piano playing and singing ability. He frequently appears alongside his mother on his YouTube channel. However, he recently featured in a video alongside another visitor, the family’s youngest member, three-year-old Nicholas. Leo joined Karolina and their mother on the streets of Santa Monica, playing the piano, while Nicholas dazzled everyone with his vocals on Elvis’ rendition of ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love.’

Bystanders were taken aback by the two little boys’ skills, pausing in their tracks to listen to them play and exchanging glances of wonder as they realized how young Nicholas was. The gorgeous film also piqued the interest of internet followers, who flocked to watch it, resulting in over 4.9 million views in a few months. Many viewers praised the children’s remarkable ability for their ages, with one calling young Nicholas “another musical genius for the Protsenko Family.”

Nicholas has proven on Leo’s YouTube channel that he is a multifaceted talent. Over the previous six months, Nicholas has joined his brother in singing a range of songs, including Celine Dion’s iconic ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and the holiday ‘Feliz Navidad,’ demonstrating his precociousness. One of his most popular channel performances was when he sang a version of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ with Leo and Karolina, which was both poignant and charming.

 

Anyone can see that the Protsenko family is on track to become a musical prodigy family. Encouraged by their musical parents, the children’s abilities at such a young age are truly extraordinary.
