A woman in China was shocked to discover she had a leech stuck in her nose for months.
The woman finally went to the hospital in Shenwan with a 10-day-long nose bleed on May 9 and was surprised when a doctor told her that they suspected a leech was inside her nostril.
Doctors found and removed the three-inch-long leech.

The 49-year-old visited the Shenwan Ear Nose and Throat hospital complaining of a nose bleed along with nasal discomfort for several months.
Doctors examined the patient only to fin a dark brown soft object. It was only when they examined the nostril further that they found that it was a leech.
According to the patient, she often washes her face in a mountain stream.
Doctors think that the leech could have got into her nostril this way.
Doctors managed to remove the leech which measured three inches in total.
