Tylor Chase, known for his role as Martin Qwerly in the Nickelodeon series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, was seen on the streets of Los Angeles by an influencer named ‘Lethal.’
Now 36 years old, Chase appeared unkempt and homeless. A video featuring him went viral, leaving fans stunned by the current situation of the once talented child star.
A fundraiser was initiated and quickly raised $1,207. The influencer who led the effort demonstrated how she assisted in giving the former actor a makeover, but faced criticism regarding the makeover’s effectiveness in addressing his deeper issues.
In a video, she explained that the $1,207 raised from the fundraiser was spent during a single day she spent with Tylor.
She starts her video by carrying bags filled with clothes, including jackets, pants, shoes, and a backpack. She mentions that each item was purchased with Chase in mind.
In the video, she states, “Today I spent all day giving him a refresh. It’s such a blessing for God to use me as a vessel to help bless someone.”
She also filmed herself washing the former child actor’s hair on the street, rinsing and lathering product into his scalp and hair, using a plastic water bottle to assist with the rinsing.

The upcoming clip features a visibly emotional Chase as he receives each item of clothing.
He expresses his gratitude while those filming encourage him to try on his new outfits.
“Thank you so much, these are so beautiful,” he can be heard saying on camera. The video concludes with a shot of the three of them together, smiling for the camera.
Additionally, the video included a link to the fundraiser that was initially set up. Although the link was present, the fundraiser was closed as it had met its goal, raising $1,207.
The GoFundMe campaign had made initial promises, but it was much more than just a bath and some new clothes. “This fundraiser is aimed at providing him with safe housing, food, basic necessities, and the resources he needs to regain his footing,” the campaign stated.
“Every donation, regardless of size, will significantly impact Tylor’s hope and stability as he strives for a brighter future.”
However, in the video that highlighted the use of donations, viewers only saw Tylor Chase receiving new clothes and a hair wash.
While the fundraiser promised more, people continued to support her for her efforts to assist the struggling former child actor.
“The update I was waiting for! Thank you so much! You are blessed forever. I know he must feel the love from everyone wanting to help and support him,” one individual commented.
According to reports, someone who knew Tylor personally reached out through messages, sharing some insights about the actor’s current situation.
They mentioned, “Yes, Tylor needs medical care, not money. But he refuses it. I appreciate your efforts. However, money would not be beneficial to him,” the alleged message stated.
“I have provided him with several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He struggles to manage money or his medications on his own.”
Some fans have also observed in the past that Chase would openly discuss his battles with bipolar disorder. Some speculated that he may have begun to rely on illegal substances, which could have led to his homelessness.
I truly hope that Tylor Chase can find the support he needs to live a fulfilling and joyful life. Please share this with fellow fans of the actor who may be interested in this news.
