Meghan Markle’s dance during pregnancy fuels surrogacy rumors

Recently, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a video celebrating their daughter Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday. The footage captures the couple in the labor room, just before their little one arrived on June 4, 2021.
In the video, the couple is seen joyfully dancing, with Prince Harry moving to Starrkeisha’s song, The Baby Momma Dance.
What was intended to be a touching moment before their baby’s birth has sparked considerable speculation among viewers who are skeptical about the authenticity of Markle’s pregnancy.
In her post, Meghan shared that both of her children were a week overdue before they were born, prompting the couple to get inventive in their efforts to induce labor. “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates…” Meghan wrote in the caption of her post, adding, “So when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!” she continued.
The couple danced at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, where Meghan was scheduled to give birth. However, the video has only intensified rumors suggesting that the Duchess was pretending to be pregnant.
“Even a blind person can tell that the poorly stuffed belly is fake,” one individual remarked about the video, while another added, “A belly that moves all over the place is definitely not a pregnancy belly.”
“She’s not pregnant,” another person simply stated.
“What’s so cringey about it? Kudos to them for being down-to-earth and not like those stuck-up royals,” read another comment that failed to grasp the criticism.
“A woman who is heavily pregnant cannot move like that. You can hardly walk, let alone twerk. There’s nothing solid in there. The surrogacy theory just gained more traction,” said another critic online.
Nonetheless, some people didn’t see the criticism the same way and shared their thoughts. “Can you imagine being so bitter about someone else’s pregnancy? You all must be incredibly bored with your own lives. This is a trend; check out TikTok, she’s not the only one dancing around in the hospital,” one person pointed out.
Many experts suggest that dancing might help alleviate labor pain, shorten labor duration, and enhance the overall experience.
Those who doubted her pregnant belly’s ‘shape’ and ‘size’ should realize that there’s no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to pregnancy bellies.
“Just as bodies differ in shape and size, so do pregnant bellies for each person,” Dr. Charlsie Celestine explained.
However, these doubts don’t arise in isolation. Speculation about the couple choosing surrogacy has been around since 2019, when they welcomed their first child, Prince Archie.
The couple was initially set to give birth at Frogmore Cottage but changed their plans at the last moment to Portland Hospital in London, which fueled more skepticism.
Others who were doubtful noted how the couple took two days before introducing their child to the public, while big brother Prince William and his wife, Princess Kate, immediately presented their child to the public at the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital.
“This scandal is not unexpected. Speculation regarding the children has been brewing for years,” a senior palace courtier remarked earlier.
“The children are sixth and seventh in line for the throne, yet they have been shrouded in secrecy since their birth,” they continued.
“Numerous questions are surrounding them. This crisis will persist until the undeniable truth is revealed,” they added.
“The children are sixth and seventh in line for the throne, yet they have been shrouded in secrecy since their birth,” a senior palace courtier asserted.
Royal author Lady Colin Campbell stated that Meghan Markle “created a situation” that has led some to suspect her children were born through surrogacy.
“I believe the entire situation is highly suspicious,” she expressed to the outlet. “…It needs to be clarified once and for all. There should be no ambiguity regarding who rightfully belongs in the line of succession.”
To further fuel the uncertainty surrounding the birth of the Sussex children, Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, made remarks that stunned the public.
“If they did use a surrogate, they should just admit it,” she told journalist Dan Wootton last year.
Samantha alleges that Markle retrieved her frozen eggs nine months prior to Archie’s birth.
“My father mentioned nine months before Archie was supposedly born that [Meghan] collected her frozen eggs. I thought: ‘That would explain the involvement of a surrogate,’” Samantha told Dan.
“But why all the secrecy? Instead of deceiving the public, just say: ‘We are using a surrogate.’ However, that would mean the child would be excluded from the line of succession since an heir must be born to a titled royal mother.”
