Fearless Yorkshire Protects Her 10-Year-Old Owner, By Battling Coyote Twice Her Size
It’s a well-known fact that children and dogs often share a strong bond. When a wild coyote approached a 10-year-old child, their family’s Yorkie bravely stepped in to protect the young girl.
Macy, the 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, confronted the coyote, giving her little owner the chance to escape the dangerous situation. Sadly, the loyal pup, who resides with Dorothy Kwan in Scarborough, Toronto, sustained several injuries from the coyote’s assault, and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
She is currently being treated and cared for by medical professionals, and will be reunited with her family once she has made a full recovery! Macy’s bravery is truly remarkable. Please watch the video below.
