Grammy Winning Actor And Country Music Star Kris Kristofferson Has Died

Kris Kristofferson, an actor known for his part in ‘A Star Is Born’ and a country music singer, died at the age of 88. His representatives announced that he passed away peacefully at his home in Maui on September 28, 2024.

His family released a statement saying: “With heavy hearts, we share the news that our husband/father/grandfather, Kris Kristofferson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28 at home.” He was surrounded by his family when he died.

They also expressed their gratitude for the time they had with Kristofferson in the statement. They wrote: “We feel so blessed for our moments with him. Thank you for loving him all these years, and when you see a rainbow, remember he’s smiling down at us.”

Kristofferson had a big family. He was previously married to Frances Beer, and they had two kids together. While married to Rita Coolidge, he had a daughter. He also had five children with his current wife, Lisa Myers.

Even though he has passed away, we will always remember the legacy he created through his music and acting. Fans are already sharing how much he influenced the industry.
