It’s so common for humans to get puppies, but the same is true for puppies. The muscles spasm in the lungs, resulting in an opening of the vocal chords. That’s how you get the “hic” sound.
In the video below, a first time hiccup moment was captured on camera. Meet Buck, a 8-week-old Heeler puppy, whose about to experience his first ever hiccup attack. The sensation is so new to him that he’s not too sure what to do.
At first, Buck is seated calmly in the car — not a worry in a world.
Suddenly, a hiccup is heard. He’s startled, not quite knowing what to make of it.
You can tell he’s trying to figure it out by his facial expression on camera.
Moments later, another hiccup happens. Full on panic mode ensues.
He even attempts to bark and growl to make the hiccups disappear. Buck’s reaction is just too adorable. Watch the full clip below.
